3. Process Work

After getting a grasp of the idea I am going for from the mood board and sketch, I went ahead and digitalize my design. I used a portrait from a photoshoot that was done for a previous exercise.

Mr. Martin's comments that the idea is there but it is lacking in art direction and finishing. Upon receiving his feedback, I worked on my edit by adding some key features like the a fish bowl over my head with flowing fishes circling around. I think the idea fits the theme I am going for since the fishbowl can be seen as a space helmet. I also readjusted the colors, the planet's locations as well as adding a few comets.

After getting Mr. Martin's approval on my work, I proceed to animate my edit in After Effects.

I made the animation on loop, here is a preview to how it turned out.

Afterwards, I went ahead and selected a background music to accompany my animation. I chose 'Dark Ambient', composed by YVHNII.

REFLECTION

This project is the most difficult from the previous ones as it requires you to implement everything that we have learnt so far. Nonetheless, I find this enjoyable and fun to create!
