WEEKLY PRACTICALS

Week 2 Practical

During the online class tutorial, ensure to follow the instructions provided by Mr. Fauzi, who asked us to reference the tutorial video for creating compositions. Download all design elements from the provided Google Drive link and utilize Photoshop to create a canvas sized 1920 x 1080. Use the Pen tool to trace and crop images, creating three distinct compositions from the same design elements. Select the most favorable composition and animate it within a 15-second timeframe. Finally, submit the finished work on the E-PORTFOLIO blog for evaluation.

The following are my submissions for this practical, they're all done using Photoshop.

For this practical, I opted to animate Composition 1 out of the three. Using Adobe After Effects, I executed the motion graphics, ensuring each layer was appropriately named to avoid confusion during animation. Additionally, I incorporated puppeting techniques for the fencer and included sound effects, along with royalty-free music to enhance the overall experience.

Week 5 Practical

As per Mr. Fauzi's directive, we are to create a unique composition using the design elements from the provided link given. Next, using Photoshop, craft a poster sized 1080 x 1920 pixels (I.G Stories size), and employ the Pen tool to trace and crop the images as needed. Following this, generate one composition as instructed and attach it below as an I.G poster. Additionally, animate the composition into a 5-16 second loop with accompanying sound, suitable for an I.G video story.

New elements were available from the drive, including fishes, buildings, textures, and more. I opted to incorporate these elements into the composition. Here is the completed composition, crafted using Photoshop!

I proceeded to import the Photoshop file into After Effects and start with the motion graphic. This time, I used one of the animation techniques from a lecture video shared by Mr. Fauzi to create bubble effects.
