REFLECTION
Experience:
Mr. Vinod's class is like no other. It has a very focused atmosphere and consistent to the core. Unexpectedly because of the consistency, I feel less anxious as I know what to expect next. This module is one of the difficult ones, not only you need to have a good sense of design, we are also required to be punctual upon our work's progress. Moreover, I like Mr. Vinod's bluntness when it comes to giving feedback. I'm glad to have attended this course as he could guide or assist me by identifying what I lack.
Observation:
I observed that I have become more keen to details in a font's design. There are more to fonts than you expect, every one of them has a unique personality and purpose. A font's function depends on the typeface's details and construction as its tone of communication can vary.
Findings:
I discovered that my observation skill has improved ever since attending this module. I would find myself observe designs that involves typography and composition outside of class. Whether or not the texts are cross-aligned, kerned properly, if the font delivers the message that is being conveyed. This finding only motivates me and strive for a better understanding in Typography.
